Description:
We purchased this yacht 4 years ago and have used it as a floating apartment, moored in Empuriabrava, Girona, Spain. We have now decided to buy and apartment instead so we are now looking to find new owners for “LittleWing” (yes, I am a Hendrix fan). Over the years I have done loads of work to the boat including fitting the Garmin equipment, replacing the sea toilets, replacing all the flooring with custom made fitted carpets, new fridges and most importantly having air-conditioning professionally fitted. We also renewed all the internal plumbing as the pipework was starting to get a little unreliable. It’s a great boat for holidays or even living aboard if you wanted. It’s fully Med spec now, has shore power/water or fresh water tanks and a generator for offshore power (we have never used this but I’m told it starts and runs by our marine mechanic). The engines start on the button, we have regularly started them, although we haven’t actually sailed the boat anywhere. The boat is British (SSR) registered and has European tax paid status, this means you can move it anywhere in Europe without paying import duty. All said and done its cheaper than a caravan in Wales!
Work now underway: As you can see from the videos, Little Wing has now left her mooring and is resident at the boat yard in Empuriabrava. She has been lifted out of the water and is now laid up in the main yard with works started. We are completing the following: New turbos x 2, full engine and gearbox service x 2, clean off and antifoul, new anodes. We will then run a general check and get a full survey done. Once this is completed, she will be ready for the sea once more.
My plan is to keep her out of the water until she is sold, once all the work is done, we can entertain sea trials for potential buyers. Viewings are still possible at the yard with a little notice. Asking price is still £45,000.00 including all of the work above.
